There is so little left towards graduation, It can't be real. As a matter a fact yeah it actually is real, I am nervous. I begin to see how much I’ve grown up to be and the amount of things I’ve been learning and I believe that without having an education the future will turn against me. For me, just being able to receive my diploma on June 10th will mean the world to me. As well as for Grad Night, I believe that's what I’m most excited about these upcoming months especially because it's one of the last days I get to create memories with my High School friends.
Preparations for post-graduation have been really important, in addition to applying to college and also keeping up the pace with all of my classes. Since I plan to continue education at a community college after High School I’ve been super busy with my college application and my FAFSA. I took so much time to complete them because during school I was involved with sports and tried to stay on track with my classes so that I wouldn’t fall behind. With the help of my counselors and sisters, I was able get both my FAFSA and college application done within a week. I was surprised how quickly and easy both of these got done. After completing both, I began to laugh because it was super easy. On the other hand, the reason why it took me longer than I expected for both of those was because there was personal information I didn’t know and that is where my sisters came in to help me out. I wouldn’t of done it without their help. Thanks to them I’m prepared for college and I’m excited to face this next chapter in my life. I am currently trying to stay on pace with all of my classes in particular with my senior project website. I’ve taken a lot of time now that I don’t have any extracurricular activities to get everything on this website done efficiently, because I want to have clear and logical details in every category regarding my website.
Looking back to the beginning of my senior year I’m most grateful for creating more interaction with my friends and teammates. We all became really close almost as much as a family, because we did a lot of things together. I am also grateful to have such a good group of friends that are all supportive of each other and will all be attending college or a University. I am also very happy for my accomplishments earlier in my semester, because it was never easy to get homework done and stay up late and then wake up early for school. I have become a better a student throughout the semester, but mostly throughout my senior year. I am happier now, because when I was a freshman I was not motivated to get my work done on time, but now that I have matured I realize how important it is to get stuff done on time; not only for school, but because it helps me become a better person and a person that can handle many responsibilities outside of school, which is part of growing up.
Lastly, I want to thank all of my supporters and people who have helped me to accomplish everything the last four years, my family, my instructors, coaches and friends. It will be an interesting ending to my high school cardinal years. Thank You LHS.
