Since my last journal there has been a couple changes. Beginning my senior year I was proud of myself for good reasons. I thought to myself that I wouldn't catch up to my year because of the pace I would work at. Thanks to the extra time I had during summer vacation, I attended summer school. At the beginning of my senior year I knew I would set myself to achieve everything I was assigned to because of course it's my last year and I have to join the soccer team with all of my friends, that's what I wanted. I love the sport why wouldn’t I. This year I’ve usually been finishing a specific assignment and if I start having trouble with it I have my sibling help guide me through something. Also, I’ve been making the time to stay after school for the Red Zone program in order to finish homework so I won't be stressed out during soccer season. All the time I make for myself helps me catch up with homework. By the end of the semester I need stay on pace with all of my classes and make sure I don't fall behind in any of them. On the other hand, the only difficulties I’m having with my senior project is being able to decide who to contact in order for that one person to give me more information and even influence me towards what I want my career to be like, which is becoming a visual artist.
My senior year has so far been good to me because I’ve been a lot more involved with school events and it is all becoming an amazing experience thanks to my fellow friends. Thinking about how close my semester is ending is scary because there is so much more to do including the financial part. I work harder at everything I do because I have something good I have to work towards getting. What is more exceptional to me is how everything I’ve accomplished has help me to become more superior, so when I graduate I’ll have a better understanding of what is out there in the real world. My most important goal is to earn my diploma at the end of June 10th because it's what I need to start my future career in Visual Arts. Each and every moment now that I think about what's left of my senior year has me continuing towards my goal at the end of the year. Being organized, focusing on assignments for different classes, getting as much help as possible, are reasons why I’ve been earning more time for extracurricular activities, as of before I didn’t.
With the help of LHS teachers, personal friends, and most importantly my family I’m able to accomplish a lot more assignments than past years. In addition to that, there has been various parts of my high school experience where I’ve felt like graduation will become a new beginning for me to the futuristic world.
